[6th Competition] Call for FWE files for 300 mm shell
Posted date:2025/10/14
Thank you for your cooperation in Simulation Fireworks Competition held by our association. Continuing from the previous competition, this time as well, we have planned a program "Shakudama contiuous firing - Let's make the flower of dreams bloom(tentative name)" created by FWsim all users.
While we are very pleased to see so many works submitted to our competition, we have also received feedback that the level of the competitive categories is high and it is difficult for FWsim beginners to participate. Therefore, the purpose is to create a non-competitive program and create a simulation fireworks show with all users, including FWsim beginners, to create excitement.
We will solicit FWE files from all of you, and we will create a video that puts them on a music and launch them, which will be screened during the competition. This is a collaborative program by FWsim users.
FWE file requirements
- Fireworks types are limited to those that bloom in the sky. (Example: peonies, chrysanthemums, shell of shells, character fireworks)
- The size is limited to shakudama (diameter 300mm).
- Please limit the number of shells to 1 to 3 per person.
- It doesn't matter if it's published/unpublished.
- If our company determines that the design, etc. is contrary to public order and morals, we will consider that there was no entry.
How to get the FWE file
- Open FWsim's "Tools" -> "Fireworks Editor".
- Set the diameter of the "shell" to 300mm in the menu on the right.
- Set the number of stars, color, and other components as you like.
- Click "File" on the top left -> "Rename", enter the work name and author name, and click the OK button.
- Open My Documents -> "FW-Sim" -> "(Author name entered above)" folder.
- You can now get the "(work name entered above).fwe" file.
How to entry
- Send the FWE file as an email attachment to official[at]simhanabi.org (replace [at] with @).
- Please set the subject as "Ending Fireworks Participation Request".
- Please include your nickname as the author name in the body of the email.
- The entry period is until November 6, 2025 (Thursday) 15:00 (UTC).
Screening format/Others
- The created video will be screened as the final program of the 6th Simulation Fireworks Competition.
- The author's name (nickname) will be introduced at the end credits of the competition without being linked to the work.
- Not for competition.
- If parameters such as launch speed are significantly different from other shells, we will adjust them.
- The BGM will be "Melody of Dreams" (Whitesand), the same as the previous competition.
- The copyright of the FWE file belongs to the author.
- The copyright of the video belongs to our association.
- The FWE file you send will be used only for the production of the video for this program and will not be used for any other purpose.
- FWE files sent to us will not be made public.
Thank you for your cooperation.
