The comments from the commitee are quoted below.(We have omitted honorific titles here.)(updated at 2021/12/07)

[Entry No.1 "Here We Go! Sail!" (Artist:LiLi)]
I expect that the variety of fireworks will be increased and the performance will be developed in the future./If changes or variations are added to the performance, it will become more dynamic and better.

[Entry No.2 "Flame Alter" (Artist:TOKUMATU)]
Many vivid colors were used, but, as a whole, a unique world was illustrated with the colors and pauses between fireworks. The timing of shooting of the fireworks like UFO (girandolas) was perfect. Shooting the fireworks from the 3D buildings would give more attractiveness to this work./The originally made 3D buildings were creative and injected depth into the performance, and they helped the fireworks embody the title, which was good.

[Entry No.3 "Blue Sea" (Artist:Lukas Lukas)]
With the tune, it must have been difficult to avoid simplifying the composition. However, the performance including the transition at the halfway point was excellent, which contributed to this great work. The variety of fireworks and the techniques were also great. More could be done to make the most use of the bouquet of flowers at the bottom in the final part./Variations were effectively added to the work and they matched the tune. Besides, the expression—reminding me of blue sea, waves, ships going through the waves—was beautiful.

[Entry No4 "The Sun Rises" (Artist:Chairman of Komatsukakokagayaki Fireworks Shop)]
It made me feel the magnificence of the ocean. The effects and techniques of the fireworks were also great, and they matched the music. Besides, the method of projecting fireworks diagonally, not at the front, on the screen matched the music and was great./With the tune, it must have been difficult to create variations in the performance, but the performance was great corresponding to the transitions of the music—first part, half part, final part. I find a good sense in the use of the fireworks and think that the balance is excellent as a whole.

[Entry No.5 "Double-Core Shell Peony with Haze Effect and Rising Attachment" (Artist:LiLi)]
Haze has an impact./The timing of shooting the 3-layered stars was good, and I was impressed with the fragileness and beauty when they all disappeared at one time.

[Entry No.6 "Silver Ascent tail with Purple Peonies Rising to Blue Peony to Pastel Purple with Silver-Orange Kamuro Pink Ring Pistils and Purple Shell of Shells Core" (Artist:Christian Suva)]
After the flashes disappeared in a second, just one moderate kowari added a storyline to this work./The pastel purple flash, combined with the transition from violet and orange before and after the pastel purple, was beautiful.

[Entry No.7 "Color Waves" (Artist:sironeko96)]
The fireworks could be seen simple, but they were so rich in detail that I was touched. I cannot believe that they are simulation fireworks. Rather than that, they seemed alive./The waves created by the colors of surrounding stars were beautiful, and the performance after the wave was so great that I felt the anticipation for the blooming.

[Entry No.8 "Remarkable Progress! Brilliance of Galaxy" (Artist:Chairman of Komatsukakokagayaki Fireworks Shop)]
The sparkle of the stars in the galaxy was well expressed by the fireworks exploding with a complex time-delay./I found ingenious techniques in the surrounding stars and strongly felt advanced.

[Entry No.9 "Look Up at The Sky" (Artist:Yu-chan)]
As if the big star, which lasted for a long time, embraced me, and it was great. I expect further developments./The color of stars, the color of tails, and disappearing lights—all of them were beautiful, and I thought that this work was full of passion. I expect further developments.

[Entry No.10 "Rainbow Various Directions Flowers with Rising Attachment" (Artist:ksana0354)]
My favorite type of fireworks—rainbow stars scattering like lines one after another in various directions—were well expressed. They were arranged to change the colors of the cores, and they were so beautiful./The color contrast of the rainbow stars scattering like lines one after another in various directions was majestically expressed.

[Entry No.11 "Rotation of Rainbow" (Artist:ZZCV Fireworks)]
I was surprised at the completeness of the fireworks changing in an ingenious way./The rainbow colors, the time when the colors changed, and the arrangement of the stars were wonderful, and the title was well expressed as I imagined.

[Entry No.12 "A New Shell, Christmas with Flash Fireworks" (Artist:Mabu-san)]
I felt the atmosphere of Christmas filled with brightness, and I felt happy!/The combination of the colors of kowarimono and the afterglow of the rogue stars was beautiful, and a lively atmosphere of Christmas was well expressed.

[Entry No.14 "Sky Blue Rain" (Artist:yamasa)]
The concept of the work was well expressed in one firework, which touched me. If the last rainbow had been a little clearer, it would have been better./The story flow from the thunder to the appearance of the rainbow was well expressed. More could be done to express the last rainbow, which would make the work more wonderful.

[Entry No.14 "All stars over water, First form, Dance in summer sky" (Artist:Mabu-san)]
I felt happy while watching this work. The layout of 3D objects, fireworks over the water, the effective camera movement—all of them were excellent./The fireworks reflecting on the water were so beautiful, which made me eager to replay many times. The collaboration with the music was also great. Great work.

[Entry No.15 "Remarkable Progress! Elegant Brilliance" (Artist:Chairman of Komatsukakokagayaki Fireworks Shop)]
From the start to the end, every firework was so wonderful that it surprised me. It seemed overwhelming, so it would have been more attractive if the work had some pauses./In the first part, many splendid fireworks appeared and they were enjoyable, but the music seemed to be overwhelmed by them. The climax in the final part was so great.

[Entry No.16 "Raiden Shogun Maker's" (Artist:La Venta Pyrotechnics)]
The way the work was depicted was so great. I was immersed into this work as if I was actually playing video games. It was so wonderful./The world implied in the title was well expressed. The balance between the tune and the fireworks was also good, and it was a great work.

[Entry No.17 "sky is beautiful" (Artist:yamasa)]
The flashes were effectively used and it was good./The time when the stars opened and they flashed was precisely calculated, and each type of fireworks was expressed in a way that made full use of its own charm.

[Entry No.18 "Vital Power of Island, Life of Formosa" (Artist:ZZCV Fireworks)]
I found the work to be very technically advanced. It would be better if it included a stronger storyline./Even though it was a digital work, it was heartwarming enough to cheer me up, energetic as the title represents, and great.
